What we dowith your data.

The short version first, the long version as we grow up. If you want the plain language and no legalese, everything you need is on this page.

The short version

Seven plain-language commitments.

  • We store your email and the organization you belong to. Nothing more than what you typed into the signup form.

  • We crawl your site when you ask us to. Never preemptively, never without a site you've added to your account.

  • We call Anthropic's API to analyze your site content. That means the text we extracted from your pages is sent to Anthropic during an audit. Anthropic does not train on API traffic.

  • We use Stripe for payments. Card details never touch our servers; Stripe holds them.

  • We don't sell anything to anyone. Your data is not a product line.

  • No dark patterns, no tracking pixels, no third-party ad networks, no session replay, no fingerprinting. None of that on Torch Compass surfaces, period.

  • You can delete your organization from settings. When you do, the audits, crawls, and extracted content go with it.

The long version

The formal policy arrives with public availability.

Torch Compass is in private preview. When we ship the first public release we’ll publish a formal data processing agreement, a per-jurisdiction privacy policy (GDPR, CCPA, and the rest), and a subprocessor list that stays current automatically. Until then, the seven commitments above are the whole contract, and they’ll stay true after the formal docs ship.

If you have a specific question, a data subject request, or a concern about how we handle something, write to us directly at privacy@torchcompass.com. A human on the team reads that inbox.
