Terms

The rulesof the house.

Fair on both sides, boring by design. The full terms document arrives with public availability; the short version on this page is the whole contract until then.

Terms of service

The short version

Six plain-language commitments.

  • You bring a site you own, or one you have written permission to audit. If you're unsure, don't point the auditor at it.

  • We do our best to give you useful findings. The auditor is a tool run by an agent, not a guarantee. Treat every recommendation as a starting point, not a verdict.

  • You can cancel any time from settings and billing. Cancel and you keep access through the end of the billing period; no clawbacks, no exit fees.

  • We can close abusive accounts. Spam, credential stuffing, scraping third-party sites without permission, and anything that puts other customers at risk are grounds for immediate termination.

  • Your content is yours. We only process it to run the audits you've asked for, and we delete it when you delete your organization.

  • Everything else, we'll figure out together. If something breaks or a finding is wrong, write to us. We'll fix it.

The long version

A formal ToS ships with public GA.

Torch Compass is in private preview. When we open the product to the public we’ll publish a formal Terms of Service, an Acceptable Use Policy, and the standard limitation-of-liability language your legal team is going to ask about. The six commitments above will remain the spirit of that document. The formal version simply writes them in a way a lawyer can file.

If something isn’t clear, or you need a signed order form to get started, write to us at hello@torchcompass.com. A human on the team reads that inbox too.
